So I know Google frowns upon content that is hidden off the user browsing window, or text that is the same color as the background, but I have a situation that I'm not sure is good or bad. So many sites have text content in HTML elements like say a <div> tag where they might possibly have a fixed height. What happens is if there is more text than the height of the box/element, then a scroll bar can appear and you have to scroll down to view the rest of the content. Now is this bad for SEO, especially when you have keywords in the text? Is it considered hidden text? |

I'm pretty sure it's not classed as hidden, google bot can use the scrollers to see any text that isn't immediately visible.
