Is this acceptable? or will it hurt my SEO efforts?

example:

www.SiteName.com/the-best-widget-reviews/

why would it hurt? Assuming your page is about the keyword that's the idea. It's fine.

Yep, if your website is not separated in categories and it is a "micro niche", it wont hurt anything. What is more, this may be the best way to represent your URL.
ex. http:// awesomewidgets.com/the-best-widget-additional-word
http:// awesomewidgets.com/how-to-choose-widget

It is the best way of writing your URL for SEO. The URL has the keywords in it and this is good for your site as it will be considered more relevant to the content and the search term entered by the user.

Make sure that your content should be relevant to the Keyword used in the URL and the content must contain keywords at least three time in the content.
