Excellent list... It is very important that one does not get too wrapped up in the do follow only myth though. Make sure you have a good balance of no follow links as well. This helps you to appear natural to the search engines. I good strategy to do this is to turn your attention to building tartgeted traffic to your website or blog instead of just back links. One way this can be achieved is by contributing to forums and leaving valuable comments after blog posts.

I'd make the links un-clickable. I'd guess that a good number of the blog owners will see a sudden traffic jump, check where it's coming from, then find this thread. Which will probably make them turn the comments section into nofollow.

It is good share, but my personal opinion is, Blog comments are really time consuming 1. We have to find SPAM FREE blogs
2. Write a good comment
3. The comment have to be approved

However, if we write good comment and the comment is approved with link, and it is spam free - That will be great to gain improvement on SERP - Specially if the blog offers DOFOLLOW and niche related.

Commenting itself isn't really too time consuming. What IS time consuming is finding the blogs. Especially if you're looking for high PR, moderated, and DoFollow.

Really, a tool like Scrapebox will save a TON of time. Even if you never use it to automatically comment. It has helped me build my own database of over 50,000 moderated & dofollow blogs. That's not counting the niche related blogs that I've harvested as well.
