With Google Plus the World it is looking like social votes will play an important role for website rankings.

Is anyone using this as part of their strategy? Anyone having success from buying Google plus ones?

Also social likes from facebook and Twitter will play a role as well.

Yes, Google+ will feature greatly in my strategy for this year and I am planning on using different techniques in getting our clients to click '+1'.

Social signals will play a role in rankings and social links have helped some companies increase their ranks greatly.

i think so..because if u embed ur g+ id to ur website then you can see ur picture wen searching keyword of ur website..

Don't buy +1's give people something to +1, much easier in the long run and way more effective. It's pretty easy for the big G to spot things like +1 buys (Sellers will have a cloud of accounts that they will use to spam with, eventually it will get caught).

More and more people said that Google+ might influence rankings in the future, but Google still keep silence about this. My guessing is Google+ might influence rankings slightly, but will benefit marketing much. Especially those ones who have built their own brand reputation.

Well still too early to say but if we notice a tremendous effect by using Google +, then wed certainly make that a part of our SEO strategy for the year. We are still studying Google + and its affect on ranking.

Yes, I think Facebook will have to make changes so that 'Likes' of a page helps it in getting it ranked. In 2012 the G+ is indeed an important part of my scheme of things. I have already started devoting my maximum time to Social media, and much lesser time to link building via other means besides content marketing!

I am just beginning to see the potential of Google+ and we are starting to move on that as we speak. Also we have been very keen on likes from Facebook and Twitter for some time. Infact people clicking like on our blog posts, Squidoo lenses, press releases etc can make a huge difference if achieved consistently. The quality of ones content is critical in this.
