Hello Warriors, Seems like it's been forever since I posted around here. I am hoping that with the vast majority of SEO tools and an equally vast amount of SEO tool users around here, someone might be able to shed some insight. I am looking to do 2 very specific things and outside of those things I don't need much else "fluff" from an SEO tool. I need on-page analytics in the form of... checking page-x for keyword phrase-x and how well it does. An older version of Traffic Travis that I used rated a page based on a keyword phrase. I don't know how valuable the assessment was, it said A or A+ or B respectively though it's been a long time and I can't recall if it explained how it reached that information. However, the newest version I've got doesn't seem to be built the same... maybe the pro version does but I don't see it in the fee version so that has halted my choice to purchase it. In the same tool if possible I'd like to see where my page ranks for said term in google / bing. --- I've been looking online for a few days now at various tools. I wouldn't be opposed to an online based system that charges a monthly fee. I did use Spyder-Mate for a short bit, but a technical issue with their system and my site prevents me from getting good information. (I actually have an email from their support saying my site is bugged in their system, but since it's isolated it won't have high priority to fix. Which is a shame because it's simply a Thesis Wordpress site). So yeah... any of you really attached to a tool that evaluates a specific page on your site against a given keyword. (Would also be nice if it assessed the LSI of the page against the searched keyword). |

TT still does both these, rankings are under SEO - rankings, page analysis is under my site then click the number under page warnings. Rob |

Hi Rob, Maybe the Pro version is where it's at... but my site is too big for TT from what I can tell. It crashes on 4 different computers when trying to import my sitemap (granted there are more than 650 pages). I guess I could take the plunge and buy it and see if the allowance of more links / keywords provides the value I need in the end. |

Something similar, but more powerful, than Traffic Travis which you could consider is Market Samurai.

Try SEO Workers Analysis Tool. It's such a nice tool. You may also try Reaction Engine,

I agree, Market Samurai is pretty great. Brad Callen's new software breaks it down and makes it similiar. I watched the video when he was releasing it, but I haven't picked it up yet. What I'm using now is working just fine. If you are using wordpress, which in my opinion you should be if you're not! Mae sure you All-on-SEO and the plugin SlimSat. SlimStat is a very powerful analytics tool. The amount of data it gives for free is astounding. You can see what people are searching for that arrives at your site, where your traffic is coming from, stats for each page and more. Just a few thoughts |

The simplest solution for checking on-page SEO would to do it yourself with help from Chrome extension like SEOQuake (which have for example keyword density tool). Manually you can also check placement of keyword in ALT in images and other stuff. Market Samurai is good software for off-page analysis (backlinks). On-Page analysis in Market Samurai is limited only to show you if keyword appears in page Title and in H1,H2 tags (if shows you also if keyword if repeated in desc meta tag but this is useless). However Market Samurai is doing very good job with analyzing backlinks to page, you can analyze things like anchor text and PR of backlinks which helps a lot. |
