Banned domain?

I bought a domain name yesterday and I have Wordpress installed and all that good stuff. About three hours ago I used several ping services and made a few PR5+ backlinks. I'm searching for site:mydomain.com and I'm getting nothing still? Is my domain blacklisted?

Only 3 hours? Try waiting 5 - 7 days before wondering.

I'm not freaking out by any means, but I've hard claims of 30minutes to an hour indexes. Just thought it was worth asking.

Yeah that's the norm with established sites.

Fresh sites, or even aged domains with new sites take time to get indexed. Although these usually get my new domains indexed within 1-2 days:

-Add the site to Webmastertools + XML Sitemap.
-Add Adsense & Analytics.
-Browse the pages for the site on domains like alexa.org, domaintools, aboutus.org, and various other stats websites. Then ping those URLs.
