I have some back links from a few places that I never tried to get backlinks from and they have nothing what so ever to do with my subject, I am getting referrals from a for x site which is stock trading to my travel site. I wouldn't matter but they all click on the site and leave so I am getting a 100% click through rate from them. Is there a way to get them to take me off there links or something. Mark

Why don't you try sending them an email requesting your link to be removed?

Yes, an email ahould help. But first check the PR of the site giving you the backlink, as you wouldn't want to remove a backlink from a site that has a PR greater than 6, as its removal may have a negative effect on your ranking in the SERPS.

Yes I completely agree with the others, you should send them a mail regarding this. Even I was suffring from the same kind of problem a litile while ago and I sent a mail regading this, and then they removed my Link.
