how to properly submit your RSS feed

Hi Guys, I'm a noob so dont laugh at my questions..

Im not sure on how I should be submitting my feeds..

should I submit my complete site? example mysite/rssfeed
( I assume that would be spamming if I were to do it every day)

OR

should I be submitting the actually article I write for that specific day?

example: mysite/category article / my article


By the way GREAT! forum I've learned so much AND also so many websmasters wanting me to be an instant millionaire if I buy there product! wow!!

Install FeedBurner FeedSmith plugin if you have a wordpress blog. This plugin detects all ways to access your original WordPress feeds and redirects them to your FeedBurner feed so you can track every possible subscriber.

Create a FeedBurner account: feedburner.google.com

Ok Thanks for that.. and then what? shouldn't i be submitting the feeds anywhere?

You can just submit your original url feed(ex. yourdomaindotcom/feed) and then burn (creating a new url out of your original feed) it with feedburner. And for all your other articles, you can burn the url categories under it and submit using your submission software.

Just submit your feed and submit them to the rss directories. Go to google and type in "rss directories" and you will find alot of them to submit to. To get an rss feed, go to feedburner.com, and follow the prompts. Then tell them that you want feedburner to host your rss feeds. Then promote it everywhere. This is very easy to do if you have a Blogger.com blog.

These would be one time submissions right? not everyday correct?

What submission software would you recommend? I downloaded rss annoncer but it seems a little out dated.

No need to submit RSS Feeds. Useless strategy nowadays. You had better concentrate on some RSS Feed based tricks(I should say marketing strategies) that will help you to get quality traffic.. got the clue..?
