Default When does the 'Google Dance' dust settle?

I now about the google dance, but what is an approx period when it settles down? I have a site which is one month old. I was managing to slowly climb it up to the 60's where its been for about a week.

Checked this morning and its been dumped back down 251.

You are going to hate this answer, but it is hard to say. You could dance for a few days and be back to where you were or you could dance for months. I have experienced both lengths of time and I know the feeling.

The best thing to do is wait it out and continue adding new content and backlinking as normal.

Good luck!

Google does not dance anymore and has not danced for over a year. A google dance is a term referring to the way google used to update their SERP results, every 4 – 6 weeks. There was usually a massive change in the search results and the search results were generally unstable. Now google uses a continuously updating pattern so the results shown by google are much more stable than they once were.

Fluctuations in ranks are normal to happen and nearly all websites experience the ups and downs in web positions and usually there is nothing to worry about. Two issues seem to be very important in here, the age of your domain and the links which point at it. Naturally, for a website which has been online for only one month, even huge changes in daily stats would be considered as normal. In competitive niches even one year old domains may not be immune from dances online.

It is recommended that you keep building links for your website, just make sure they remain online because ages of links too can be among very important issues always and directly affecting how web positions get fixed online. The next thing is adding some good content pages to your website and the third idea is simply being patient because trust in the cyber world is gained in the course of time and you need to wait and gradually your web placements will tend to become stable.

Really? Didn't know that. Thought it still updated it only every 4-6 weeks cos I'd been noticing some serious dancing in my SERPs.
