Is it possible to rank a website using only blog networks?

I have always used many strategies for rank my Web pages: Webs 2.0, blog comments, article directories and blog networks.

I’m wondering if it’s possible to rank a website using only blog networks such as AR, ALN or BMR.

Have you ever done a test of this type?

Yes it works until someone from Google looks at your linking profile. Especially if you use BMR only, because their sites are very obvious if you know what to look for. At least the sites I looked at.

So even if you only rank with BMR, I'd throw in a few non spammy fiverr gigs just to mix things up a bit.

yes it works, I use mostly blog networks to rank my sites. More importantly it depends on how competitive the keyword is.

Yes, some bookmarks. Web 2.0 stuff with articles provided by you. You know, anything that's not a blast.

i only used BMR to promote 3 of my sites, and within 2 months their all at #1. The competition was moderate, and I was frequently publishing content which I believe gives a giant boost.

Yeah that's completely possible. But to be on the safe side its better to diversify your links building efforts to ensure you don't appear trying to manipulate your SE rankings.

It is truly possible that we can rank our sites higher with blog networks, because it is a big help and most SEO clients are now relying on these networks.

I have heard from so many people that yes it is possible. But, I would also think that your niche and the keywords you are trying to rank from have a lot o to do with whether you can do that or not.

Obviously smaller keywords with less competition may be easier to rank for, since you may not need that many backlinks.

I have started a new site to test whether links from blog networks can get you ranked or not. I built the blog a few months back, but just started link building with BMR. So, it will be a while before I see results. But I will make sure to update if the thread is still around.

Yes, it is possible to rank a web site by using only blog networking but you can try do-follow forum posting and bookmarking also.

Depends entirely on the competition and what they are doing. Blog networks have become essential to backlinking but as said above, don't have a link profile exclusively based on that or the footprint will be obvious. Mix it up and hedge your bets with other link sources.
