Default Youtube Video Response - How to rank in the top 2?

Hi there,

so you add a video response to a well viewed video on youtube, which is related. Got that part down . I cant however identify the source, which determines who (out of all the responses) will be shown in the top 2 (only 2 are shown by default, for those that dont know).

Is it youtube or does the author of the original video have a saying?

I have analyzed a few responses, and there is no direct corelation with the top 2 regarding to the main video, or should I say the ones that are not featured have more views, more likes and SEO wise look more related.

Any ideas on this?

Maybe I didnt realize, but is there a random generator of this? So there are always 2 out of all of them shown?

NOTE : I am talking about VIDEO RESPONSE, not Related videos in the sidebar.

Looking forward to your thoughts.

Sincerely, Buyseech

I would also like to know, if once you respond to a video, can you remove the response and place it elsewhere? If I am not mistaken you can only use a video once to respond.

Thanx

I'm pretty sure the video responses are simply sorted by date. And yes, I believe you can remove a response and post it elsewhere.

Thats a bit lame, if its by date, but at least you can move it to another video once it leaves the top2....but I presume, you cant do this all the time, cause you could just be switching them up between 2 clips, back and forward.
