Does anyone have tips for landings pages from PPC campaigns? I'm guessing that the best practice is to capture emails by offering a freebie? Is ppc traffic the most suitable for a sales funnel? Thanks in advance |

Hi rob1123, While it is a good practice to capture emails, but you must be careful that you do not violate the Advertising Program's policies, for example AdWords policy on this is fairly strict: Quote:

Thanks for the reply, is there anyway around this, also is that specific to just Adwords or do all networks have similar policies?

Hi rob1123, Yes, just comply with the policy. In other words you can collect emails for things like newsletter subscriptions and services that have a legitimate requirement for the email addresses. You can offer a free trial period on a paid service, you can offer a low priced premium product, or no obligation quote, or a wholesale price list, or a paid membership to your private members only website, etc. The bottom line is that you have to offer something of value that is directly related to your ad campaign. There are a number of ways to comply with the policy, but if you are looking for a way to avoid complying then you are not a good fit for AdWords, they will permanently ban you from their program. |

I would create a squeeze page with a freebie and buy solo ads. Safe-swap has a reliable partners. Once I got 100+ optin, I started ad swap and now I have over 350+ within a week. Sent out another freebie couple days ago, with only 210 subscribers at that time and got 45 emails opened. So I guess I do have a pretty good list building up. |
