What happens when we sell website

Hello all,

Suppose we have a website and have google ads on that site. It is generating very nice revenue. So if we sell this website to some other person, and that persons uses it for some illegal content from google point of view, then what will
happen?
Will google delete our adsense account as violation of his TOS or of the person who is currently using that website and using own adsense ads?

The owner will change the ads with their ones.

but would not google track the website? As google asks for website name before applying for google adsense...

First the new owner will never keep old ads, will be rare case if did.
Second, Once you sold it make sure you yourself remove adsense code form it. Dont give adsense code to others.
Third you dont have to worry about website which does not display ads form your codes.
