Arrow Wordpress Questions ....Help Please

I have never done this before, so I need a bit of help.

What I want to do is to set up a squeeze page on the homepage using a page created in html...But I want the rest of the site to be on the wordpress platform

How do I do that?

Cheers

Just put your HTML squeeze page in the root folder for your domain and then create a subfolder for your WP install.
