High Page Rank but no traffic and no alexa reputation??

yesterday a person from india give me a purposal to get backlink from his blogs within the article. he showed me some of his blogs with high page rank 4 and 5 but later I found that the blogs h zero alexa rank and no alexa reputation..

any one tell me that if this kind of site is useful to get backlinks?
other if the blog has no backlinks then how the site gain page rank.

maybe the person just buy PR from site by google

or try search buying and selling domain pagerank on google

From My Experience alexa rank is not important. Best you ask him give the GA traffic. You get links from there if the site has more traffic.

Don't bother with Page ranks. Anyone can build a PR 4-5 website, so it's not something you should look for.

It is not an easy task to get high page rank because it takes hard word and time to get good page rank. I will give you suggestions that do not waste your time to get backlinks from poor page ranks. As far as Alexa rank is concern in my opinion Google Page Rank also depends on your alexa page ranks.

He probably removed all the backlinks pointing to it and the PR hasnt updated since.
