Question for SEO Pros - How to Do Onpage SEO of One Page & Multiple Keywords...

Hey Guys,

I've been working on one of my site's SEO. I want to get my homepage ranked for multiple keywords. I did choose a main keyword and did the on-page optimization on my homepage for that keyword.

I have already done it and all the critical on-page optimization such as the Title Tag, Description, Image Tag, H1 Tags, etc. are in place. Can anyone tell how I can about with the on-page optimization for other keywords.

I want to get my homepage ranked for multiple keywords.

There you will have a slight problem, usually you should optimize ONE page/post for one keyword.

However, it can be that, say you optimized a single page for "lose weight fast" it will ultimately also rank for "lose weight" etc...i noticed that if you target longer tail keywords it will to some extent always rank the shorter ones too.

But as a rule of thumb..you should make SEPARATE posts and optimize each post for a particular phrase/keyword.

Just stuff your Title and Meta tag with multiple keywords

For Eg: Suppose your target keyword is XYZ Services , XYZ Solutions, XYZ consultant

Title Should be:

Best XYZ Services, XYZ Solutions UK, XYZ Consultant

and same as you may stuff in meta description and meta keywords and as well H1 and in content(unique content)

after doing that you may work on off page for individual keywords like XYZ Services, XYZ Services UK and more for Home page URL
