About 3 days ago 2 of my websites started getting tons and tons of hits out of nowhere. None of these hits were converting at all. I checked statcounter and they are saying they all stayed for 0 seconds but they are all coming from different IP's across the country and the world. So basically its 100's of different IP's hitting my website all staying for 0 seconds and none of them are coming from any previous link or search engine. Any ideas?

Maybe someone paid for the traffic. Do you run adsense on the sites? If yes, paid traffic is a TOS violation. So this might have been an attack.
