What can I use to promote my KICKSTARTER campaign?

So, I've got a book i'm trying to publish, set up my kickstarter campaign, sent out the friends and family email. Post links every day on my book's facebook page, sent press release to blogs / education sites...

I'm looking for more methods of getting people to watch my video and back my campaign. Does anyone else have experience with this? Not looking to build RANK, just looking to get HOPS to the page or video views. Not too interested in paying for the hops... what else can I do?

Well the obvious would be to take advantage of the other social platforms out there, like Twitter etc. You could also use some of the popular parenting forums to market this, just engage in the community and setup a signature with your book, similar to here. They will be a targeted audience for a children's book.

You might also want to look into a self publishing platform such as CreateSpace which is owned by Amazon. They give you the distribution outlet, ie. Amazon.com as well as book stores, publishers etc., if you go for the premium account. Its also an easy way to get your book in print. Nice service and plenty of money to be made there if you know what you are doing.

One other idea, my daughter brought home a new book the other day from school. A little bit of research showed that a local woman wrote the book and donated a hundred or so copies to the school to give to kids as a way to get it out there and promote it. Great idea for getting the book in front of parents.

That's some awesome artwork in your book (link in OP).

If it was my book, I would higher a good voice-over on fiverr to narrate the book, use the images as a slide-show & create a video. Promote the video/book on Youtube.

The only thing I've ever considered a good deal on fiverr is their voice-overs, they have a lot to pick from that are a bargain IMO.

Agreed! Thanks for pointing that out Yukon. I meant to say something in my post and forgot. I was very impressed with the cover work that he has on his page. I am so use to seeing crap around here that I forgot my manners. lol

Anyways, OP nice work! Like Yukon said, take it to YouTube, also Flickr and other image sharing sites. Call up some local radio stations and ask for an interview. I marketed through radio stations and news stations with my artwork a few years ago and the response was surprisingly great!

there is a script where if friends and family want to get it free or at a discount they must refer X amount of people.

So its a viral kind of thing. You can install it and people will spread the love. haha
