Helping each other (and yourself) more than ever before

Hey everyone ... I'm a loooong time lurker (didn't even have an account until today).

My background is in traffic generation, search optimization, and conversion strategies. I like to call myself "the highest paid traffic generation consultant on the planet." (yes, that is an idea I stole from Frank Kern ... but yes, it is true). Now that I've separated from my previous company (in a dispute so nasty I left 250k on the table in exchange for being released from the non-compete) I'm building my own brand.

With the background info out of the way (since this is my first post and all that) let me get to the real point of this post.

The new changes at Google and the "Search Plus Your World" gives everyone here on the forum a watershed moment to completely crush competition in the search rankings.

In fact, it's why I am posting here.

So how can we, the members of this forum crush it on Google?

From a basic level, you post your URL here in this thread and everyone else (assuming your URL is WORTHY!!!) goes to your site and gives it a "+1"

My testing is showing that at least for the moment Google is counting this as MORE important than inbound links.

Want to put that on steroids and utterly and absolutely control the search engines?

Create a Google+ Page that is narrowly targeted to a key phrase. The title of the page should be ONLY the one key phrase you most want. PLEASE ADD SOME REALLY GOOD CONTENT. Really super good content!!!

Now, you get people to +1 the page AND to add it to their circles (again, members of this forum if you participate and +1 others and add others pages to your circles, then people will do the same for you)

Next, go to blogger, wordpress.com, youtube, squidoo, ezine articles, and hubpages and put some really good content on those. Title those RELATED key phrases as the Plus Page. Again, some really good content needs to go on these. We'll know if you're just using spun crap.

The content that you place on those links to the content on your Plus Page. This is the beginnings of something called a "Link Wheel" (I have an article describing these in more detail at seochat). Also, from the Plus Page post updates that link to the articles.

Again, come back here and we +1 your link wheel sites as well. Google now really badly wants to rank your Plus Page and your link wheel sites.

If you notice, this strategy leverages the various Google properties in a way that is meant to give Google exactly what it wants to see ... great content on "it's own" sites (G+, YouTube, and Blogger).

I'm not going to give any specific sites that I've done this with all I'm going to say is that it works like CRAZY. As in pushing a 7 day old G+ page to #2 rankings for a highly competitive search phrase AND putting two other sites in my link wheel on the first page also!

Now, since this is my first post I don't want to give my own site just yet. I'd like to help out a fair few others first.

So, do you have a site that forum members could visit, give a +1 to ... and help out your search rankings?

Also, to the members of the forum, what do you think of this idea?

And just to be clear, you could just give your URL here and ask for the +1 and you know you'll get at least one (me). It's worth a few seconds.

Probably not the best idea. You can bet that Google have steps in place to monitor this service to insure that things like this do not happen. Save yourself the heart ache and do not try to game them.

This isn't about gaming, it's about a recognition that social factors are more important.

What they will probably do is the same thing Digg did a few years ago and watch +1s and if large blocks of people +1 the exact same things not count those as much.

But the nature of this would prevent that because not everyone would be doing every site every time.

There's no +1 for your site! You'll need to add a plugin or something so that I can do it.
