I have a quick question that im hoping someone can help me out with. Ive created a couple websites, did all of the on page seo i have been reading about, and did my initial pinging of the sites to Pingler.com and ProfitInstruments.com That is all i have done so far. 1 of my sites is already on the first page of google and the other 2 are within the top 12 pages. Now my question is, what kind of continuous SEO work should i do from here? Thanks for the help |

Justin, I'm curious. Your profile says you are a super active message sender here. Heck, you have more posts logged than me. So, what you're asking is kind of beginner stuff. I'm happy to make some recommendations and all, but I'm curious. What is your IM specialty? You have been mighty active about something. Not being nosy. Well, mebbe a little, but mostly curious. With this much activity mebbe you can tell me a thing or two. Norm |

And maybe i was to vague. I know backlinking is the main thing to do. I guess im just looking for more of an explanation. Like should i be focusing on article submissions or forum backlinks, etc.

If you can, spend some time finding some DoFollow blogs (niche related if possible) and leave comments. You'll get the benefit of the dofollow link, plus any traffic that comes from your comment. Niche related blogs tend to drive more traffic obviously.

Now that you've finished doing on-page SEO and some pinging, start building high quality backlinks. Articles, videos, social bookmarks, dofollow blog commenting, press releases, web directories and Web 2.0 properties are good methods for you to start drive traffic to your website.

I concur with JSProjects - blog commenting is a good option as long as you don't spam but rather build relationship within your niche. It is very closely related to social media activities that you should also take up (not for the purpose of link-building only). The other two great backlinking techniques I highly recommend are: 1. Guest blogging (search for opportunities at Guest blogging: Looking for guest bloggers or guest post? Join MyBlogGuest!) 2. Quality article submission (great list is here List Of Top 50 Article Directories By Traffic, PageRank) Hope this helps!

Hi Justin, Norm again. Well, if you want the BEST thing to do, it will cost you...but not terribly. You will want to hook up with my friend Shane with Backlinks Battleplan for the definitive HOW TO on the subject of backlinking. It's what I use. You can get there by clicking on my link thingy under this post and once you are on my site look for the tools of the trade on the right hand side. Now, short of that, there are two tools that I use daily. One is called SocialAdr and I have an article about it here.... Work at Home Internet Marketing Training with SocialAdr | Work At Home .... It free, btw.... And I use a paid gizmo called AMR or Article Marketing Robot to send articles around. I never cease to be amazed at how the thing works. What it really boils down to is that back linking is about the most nastiest part of what we do, but it must be done. And even at that, it seems to be getting less and less effective. But, we do what we must until something better comes along. Lastly...stay away from promises of paid mega backlinks for little money. At best, they will do little good and at worst they can mess you over badly. Backlinking too much is worse than just letting nature take her course. Norm |

The next thing to do is build more contents and backlinks. Improve your social influence and minimize your ads (if you're monetizing it with Adsense).

Thanks for all the advice. Here is my questions though to make sure i have this correct. Im new to most IM stuff because i was an offliner. From what i have been reading, its bad to do huge blast using Scrapebox and stuff like that correct? Also doing backlinking manually, is it really better to have the quality over the quantity? So if i do backlinking by hand and do say 10-20 backlinks a day, is that better then say doing a 20,000 backlink blast with Scrapebox or something similiar? Another question i have is when im creating different sites wether it be for Adsense or Local site rental, do you create a Facebook & Twitter for every single site? Thanks |

That's what I do, day in day out. You should do the same. Just remember SEO can take time. Don't expect amazing results overnight.

Thanks for the great information! I've gotten 2 pages to page 1 of google already that have about 180 exact matches for my keyword. I don't know if the site will stay their or it's only their because my site is new with new content. One of them though is a localized site keyword+city so hopefully I can get that to number one and rent it. Any tips on ranking ahead of google places? I prefer white hat methods since I always try to be by the book. Thanks |

Going for backlinks, likes and G+ will help you in SEO everytime. However, this is not a one time thing and even the on page SEO has to be done from time to time. You rank 1st on google search but thats not forever.

Now heres another question i have about on page SEO someone can probably help me out with. Say i have a site that targets a county in a state. Their are say 30 cities in that county. Whats the best way to target those cities as keywords on the site without having to create a page or post based on every single city? Thanks |
