I saw how to take my WP site and download it so I could just upload the site to the next domain, but it was a bit complicated for me and I didn't quite get it to work right. But every time I set up a new blog I dread the time it takes to upload all of the plugins I like to use. Probably too many. But this time I had an idea. I went to the last site I built and downloaded the plugin folder with FTP software, then I went to my new blog I installed and uploaded the folder to the plugin folder of the new site. I had to activate everything again, and one plugin gave me an error (wpunique from Steve Fulman) but everything else went fine. I deleted the wpunique and and uploaded it the usual way and eveerything is working fine. Took me just a few minutes for seventeen plugins. |
