Hi all, I do some direct linking affiliate marketing, with a 30% profit more or less, I consider it low. Commisions are low 3-5% for the programs I run. I am considering to manage adwords campaigns to the client website without the affiliate platform and ask the client for a 10-15% commisions. Any similar experiences? Ideas? What software could I use to tracks sales figures from each keyword?? Thanksss in advance |

If I'm not mistaken there was a way to do this with Google analytics. Hopefully this is more toward the direction you were looking. support.google.com/adwords/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=1722054 |

You can setup ecommerce tracking in Google analytics when it is an e commerce shop. You also need to put the adwords conversion code on the thank you page after people purchased the product. This way you can see in adwords which keyword generated the sale and you can see the CPA levels. You are also able to see this data in google analytics when you link your adwords account with the Google analytics account. But it all means that you need to have access to the confirmation page. |
