When i search for my backlinks using backlink watch or another similar site it always says I have 0 backlinks. I've purchase a few packages from warriors on this site. Anyone know how long it takes for backlinks to appear? Thanks |

Try using Majestic SEO : Site Explorer instead.

No matter how old your site is, or how many links you build, no tool will ever show ALL your back links. Don't worry too much about it.

Yup ... there are a lot of backlink checker tools but none of them is 100% accurate. Yahoo site explorer used to be used quite often but they have since nerfed it. You could site a simple google search for link: and your site but this will show even fewer links. Probably the best tool other than Majestic would be OSE (Open Site Explorer). If you have a report with the links that were built you should be able to manually see if they are on the site/page. This is 1/2 the battle ... just because a link has been submitted doesnt mean its actually a "live" link. Then its just a waiting game ... which is good because it makes your link building look natural ... but does take time. |

Why don't you try alternative sources like Majestic SEO. So far, this is the tool I've used to check backlinks after the death of Yahoo Site Explorer.

Always just use a service or two to get a ballpark of what's going on. The only person to know all of a site's backlinks is if they're building their own, and somehow make no one else ever drop one. Heh.

No software or tool shows accurate number of backlinks. Or maybe your backlinks are not yet indexed that's why there's nothing to show up. Natural indexing takes a couple of days, weeks, months or even years. It depends on the site that you build backlinks from.

No tool will reveal the exact number of backlinks pointing to your site. If you purchase a backlinking service rather than checking backlinks it is important to determine how much have your rankings improved in serps |

You do not have to worry about the number of backlinks you got. No one is ever going to ask you how many backlinks you got. It would be like asking someone how many friends you got in your life. Thats lame.
