Just finished watching the news, and this segment comes on about this website site called Over Apps. What this does is it blocks all ads on any page over a certain size. Its replaced it with numerous options. You can replace the ads with facebook pictures, youtube videos, twitter feeds. It mentions which size of ads it will cover up, so I downloaded it and tested it out. Well, it blocked all the ads I had on one of my websites ( even the ones that weren't listed on the website ) I know that it would take a vast amount of people to even effect how we do business, but it is another step in the direction of not just blocking ads, but covering them up with things that the visitor actually wants to see. It was quite interesting if you ask me, so I figured I would share it with you. -- Jeff |

It is not new. I heard long ago that there are plugins that block ads.
