Weird Google SERP results

Since Market Samurai is acting a little funky right now, I thought I would use some other tools just to see where my site ranks for a keyword.

I type in my keyword and domain, and according to 2 different tools I am on page 1, position 9. However, when I do this search manually, I don't see my site anywhere...not even 10 pages deep.

Anyone understand why these tools would say this? (on a side note, every other time I've used them, they've been accurate)

Of late, I've found the ranking data pulled by Market Samurai isn't correct. It often tells me that one my site is ranking at 15th spot in G, however when I do an organic search its actually ranked on the first page

MS results are quite unreliable now, SEScout's reports appear to be more accurate.

Looks like Market Samurai is 'little bit sick' right now. I am not sure if the same thing is going on with the rest of SEO Tools. Does anybody knows tool that is still working well (even after last Google updates)?

CuteRank seems to work for me. But it only allows you to search for 1 domain at a time in the free version.

You can try link-assisant rank tracker instead. They have free and paid version. The free version does not allow you to save project but I guess it is enough for you to check you rankings.

It's simply no tools are 100% accurate when it comes to giving SERP results. Another thing is, there are many factors that affect your search for your keyword ranking such as personalized search, and geographical factor.

I am not saying that it's the most accurate tools. It's just an alternative.
