The Real PANDA Fix: Free Report No Download

Few facts based on my own recovery and popular comebacks like daniweb.

1. Most important factor in my analysis, DOMAIN AGE, this has been said a million times, but I'm not talking about 1 or 2 year old site, I'm talking about 4 to 5 years plus for really competitive kw's. Before panda with emds ranking for really competitive kw's was easy, now not so much. Don't confuse high traffic with competitiveness, there's no relation whatsoever.

2. Speed, faster sites get faster rankings.

3. Delete thin pages. Not useful, thin is not necesarily a short post or page.

4. Nofollow affiliate links

5. Reduce categories on your site, unless you have 20 posts or more per category.

6. Unique content obviously, if you do research on other sites link back to the original source, external resources just like Wikipedia

7. New, don't let ads push down your content, Matt cutts himself talked about this

8. Social integration if necessary, not all sites need this but it will always help, Focus on G+ heavily and twitter

9. white hat only, softwares aren't necesarily black hat, they just make things faster, softwares can be used in a white hat way

10. Yep, you got it, Backlinks!

OP, most of your advice looks sensible. The one thing I see that bugs me is the idea of having to integrate Google+ into a site in order for it to rank well. Not that you're necessarily wrong about that - it's just an annoying concept. Whether I integrate Google's social network into my site should have zero bearing on my rankings in the SERPs.

Yeah, but that is the way Google is trying to go. They want to integrate social media, and they can only get a reliable picture of that with G+.

Thats good Panda advice, I am looking at developing my curation skills and building a curation software to fit my custom needs.

That is a very good point. Why do they push down organic results with their ads and then tell us we can't.

The problem is for most people online, including me without Google we would not have a business. I get minimal traffic from Bing so, its either you play their game or you end up with nothing.

Well social signals have been very important lately, not definitive, not absolutely necessary. I have several sites that never got slapped, they still get more traffic, and they dont have a single social button, the content has not even been updated, last post in one of these sites was in 2010! Still makIng more than 20 a day with adsense in some of these sites.

Remember, this report is for súper competitive kws that make thousands a day.

Thats's a shame, bing and Yahoo kept me alive for months, in fact Yahoo still provides awesome traffic to my site, bing too, but Yahoo even more.

What makes me laugh is how most people started moaning when their sites got hit after the panda update. Google make it blatantly clear that unique useful content and non spammy sites filled with affiliiate links will always shine through.

It was only a matter of time before the thin sites took the hit and i am glad they have.

You are right. But Remember that many honest sites got hit by quality on site factors, little things like broken links or lousy navigation could affect a site, and of course theres that one little thing called luck, some were Lucky or have been up until now

I think adding plenty of relevant images and videos in the article helps instead of just text. See this articles uses a lot of images for illustrations too. Thanks for the good tips.

There's people who've done all that's listed and are still under Panda for months. It's mainly because panda is run every once in a while not integrated fully into the regular algos.

Another quick (almost instant) recovery method is to simply change the domain name and do a 301 redirect + Change of Address in WMT. You, of course, correct the problems that led your panda problem in the first case.

But I wouldn't recommend it for sites that are large or more than 2 years old. You might be better off waiting it out in the long run.

yep its true, pandalized sites can benefit from a 301, but if you are branding is not a good idea, especially if you have already branded your site for more than 2 years. If you were not banned from search its possible that your site Wasn't pandalized, but the sites linking to yours were. FIX: take out the first 9 points from the list, and go for the 10th, super powerful backlinks will take you back to where you belong.

Hahaha, i missed the whole fight! Woke up this morning and read a pm from tpw, and i couldnt understand what Was happening, now i get it, dcristo has a bad temper. It does happen, the other day i got banned for 15 days for posting crazy stuff under the influence of Alcohol, i think dcristo is upset because panda crippled his biz. Thats's when the old sayin "dont put all your eggs in the same basket" and "diversify" make sense.

The most important thing on your list is building backlinks. However, I would emphasis build high quality backlinks. 50k forum blast really do no good except get your site sandboxed.
