The best Adsense locations are call to action locations. You can have a call to action location anyplace on your page. Example, I run download sites, I always have an Adsense block next to my download buttons. Figure out the main purpose that traffic would want to land on your page (ex: download a file, etc...) then add an Adsense block next to that location. |

Every site has its own unique characteristics so i suggest you simply to test different locations and check which ones are the most profitable. Also remember that Google just launch the Page Layout algorithm that targeting too many ads above the fold, so don't exaggerate. |

if you are using just a basic blog the middle of the page or in the left part of the text is best, however if you are serious about adsense i would suggest making a custom theme to maximize clicks also try to blend the ads |
