Are there any free email services like aweber?
If not, are there any free softwares for sending bulk emails that you use or know of?

I understand the free version has limited send features (12,000 a month) but this is basically all this software does right is mass emailing?

If I already have software like ACT, it almost seems I don't even need aweber or mailchimp.

Or am I missing something here?

mailchimp you can send upto 2k emails at once.
