Post Question about google dance?

If my site google dances from 34th position to 168th position and another from 30th to disappearing does this mean that as I build quality back links my site would rank higher than it did initially?

My site has been google dancing for 6 weeks now and I am still building quality back links....How long will it take my site to settle down?

Most of the time it happens, the best thing in your case would be the pace at which you are building your links.
Too many links in too little a time is bad, so is having no links at all in a large time period.
Mix your links up as well and make sure they don't come from one place only
