What a positive negative keyword!

I would like to discuss with you all advantages of negative keywords, your strategies and tactics in negative keywords list building etc. Please, share your experience! Does it work?

for pretty much every major product release, someone will buy up a domain name with the word scam after it.

Negative keywords will always get people to your site because the large share of people who buy things, particularly in the IM niche, always want to see if there are scam reports about it.

So if you have a site, based around a particular product, with a negative keyword at the end of the EMD, if you can rank that bad boy then you will get a ton of traffic, obviously based on the type of product.

From there, I wouldnt sell the product you are negatively reviewing but offer then something similar for free to get them on a list. That way you build trust and they get something for nothing.

Thanks for your PoVs. Actually, I meant those words which filter your traffic and you avoid unwanted impressions...Keywords with "-" mark
