Hi Warriors ![]() Do marketers ever combine a mix of auto-generated content and unique content? I realize unique content is "exponentially" far and away what Google wants to see... Why would someone do this? Or, what purpose would it serve? And if I may ask - how would you structure your pages, posts or cats to accommodate? thank your feedback is certainly appreciated ![]() Danni~ |

not far and away value unique content any more than other content. It's a misrepresentation of what google states. Using copied or auto content has its place. If your site dictates it, use it. Unique content that has no value is junk. Copied or syndicated content that rocks has great value. Every site is different. It would be hard to exclude any site for auto content as it would depend on how and when they use it. Google talks about unique content over and over, but they do it in context. They do not just say that unique content is worth so much more. They themselves present boatloads of auto-content. And tell webmasters to do the same with some of their content. What google is trying to eliminate, is auto-copied junk sites that exist for no reason other than spamming visitors with ads and junk sales pitches. But those sites also exist with unique content. Lot's of authoritative sites with high PR use copied content. Paul | |

Hi Paul, thank you for putting into perspective. I appreciate your post; and expanded view on the subject. The reason I ask is because I wanted to build and sell a sites - but wanted to offer more content on it than just five to 10 unique articles - that I would author. Realizing that sooner or later Google would want to see "fresh" content... So, I felt that augmenting such a site with an "auto feed" to post to articles from other sources, as well as the static unique content I wrote - would provide just such a solution. I'm unsure as to how to structure the content (wordpress) on such a site. I was googling various terms to see if there are any images/info of such a structure. Hadn't had any luck. Anyway... Danni~ |
