Would you keep building up this site?

I got a site that is in weight training niche, not mainstream stuff but receives about 2k searches a month still.. site now ranks 8th but CPC is terrible at about 6 cents this month... CTR is about 4 percent.. site hasn't really earner a dollar a month so far as it's in 4th month of existance. I should be able to rank it in top 5 with another 25 buck SEO campaign but not sure if it's worth it....

Would keep building the site up? It cost me about 90 bucks so far.

damn only 6 cents? what is the cpc in google keyword tool. And also you can check on spyfu for advertiser and how much they pay.

January is a bad month, so the rest of the year should be better. If you can capture the top spot, you'll make ok money and can use it as a learning experience, etc. You can also see if you can target other higher traffic keywords to go to the same site.

Try to promote a clickbank product instead of monetizing with adsense.

How come January is a bad month? Post-Christmas season real slow?

I think I can add a good keyword... I will..

@razorhound, found one product but seems it's old and dead on CB.. founder still sells it but on his own website... and he ranks on the same keyword too...I have a side banner on a similar product.. few clicks but no buys yet..

Yea I would hang in there. 2k a month traffic isn't too bad. Why not look at some CPA offers and put a few of those on your page.
