blog footprints?

Can anyone answer this for me...

I'm about to do some link building. Will I leave footprints if I create a bunch of web 2.0 blog properties from the same IP, or does this only matter if your buying domains? I'll be creating blogs like mysite.wordpress.com for example.

I'm not talking about the linking strategy either.

You mean will they be tracking the IP address that your home laptop is using -- and then, using this to reveal your network.

No that shouldnt be a problem.
