I've been building and promoting my own niche ebook products for the past few months and promoting them with adwords. Right now, my campaigns consist of a single ad with all my keywords lumped into one group. I'm noticing that my CPC is pretty high and I was told that I could lower it by spreading my keywords out into separate ad groups and see increased ctr with more relevant ads. Is there a product that would help me to accomplish my goal of a more focused, targeted ppc campaign? Thanks. Mike |

speedPPC is pretty good but expensive but will help you with this. However you can achieve the same thing by coming up with a bunch of keywords that are related to your product and these can become your groups. Under each group keyword make a list of all the long tails that would come under it, then for each group write an ad. Quote:

Depending on how many keywords you have, using the Google Adwords Editor software (free from Google), it shouldn't take you long to split everything up. You can copy and paste easily.

I've got a budget if there's some kind of all-in-one software to help me do things faster. Any recommendations for FlashPPC or is SPeedPPC where it's at? Mike |

Hi mbomb, You could do what you say manually, although it would take you quite some time. Not to promote myself here, but I am launching my new PPC software - PPCDynamite - next week. With it, you will be able to do things like these, in seconds. So if you don`t mind waiting a few days, it could be a good thing for you to try it ![]() Best, Alex |

Hi Mike, As mentioned by kposs, you can use Google's AdWords Editor Program. It has a feature built in that will split your existing keywords into multiple ad groups. This is a free program provided by Google and easy to use. Personally, I use my own program because it allows me to create separate ad groups for each keyword, which gives you even more granularity (a good thing). It wasn't hard to create my own program and I did this long ago before SpeedPPC came to market. SpeedPPC looks like it does a pretty good job but the price seems extreme. I built my program as a web application for my own business, not intended to be marketed. If you'd like to give it try, PM me and I will let you try it out. If it works well for you perhaps I will build a commercial version. |

A couple of add'l things you can do increase relevancy and lower your CPC. 1. Add the actual keyword to your destination URL as a tracking tag. i.e. www.domain.com/?keyword. This will mean you need an ad group for each keyword but it works. 2. Have the keyword autopopulate in your landing page copy. A headline line like: "Looking for KEYWORD?...then you are in the right place" at the top of the page will be very useful. There are simple scripts that can do this for you. Good luck! Quote:
