I have been looking at several blogs for high PR pages. I started looking at MozRank and MozTrust for high quality as well. Is there a definitive answer to which is better to getting backlinks? I am using mozbar and also seoquake to check backlinks. Ironically those with high mR and mT don't necessarily, and in many cases don't have a high PR. Can I get some feed back on what other have experienced? Thanks |

Don't know about the others. But typically PageRank is not a great indicator of how tough a page will be to beat. But, in the higher PR's, it's not bad |

Not looking to beat a specific page rank. I am looking to find backlinks that will generate the best link juice. I know that PR is becoming less and less effective when trying to figure out the effectiveness of a back link. I just finished watching a video about how mT is supposed to give feedback on the how much link juice is left and mR is a better indicator for higher quality backlinks. The video was part of SEO Moz. Thoughts? |

I find that SEOMoz Domain Authority and Page Authority give a good indication of a page or domains current authority. I've never used the mR and mT metrics but I've found DA and PA very handy. |

I'm pretty much only judging quality by mozrank. For example, I just passed on a "PR6" with many backlinks but a domain authority of 30. A PR6 shouldn't have less 50.
