Hey warriors, I was just wondering if some of you would be able to explain the concept of blog networks to me a little clearer. I understand that these networks basically have a range of low to high pr blogs that have content submitted to them, so people will receive a backlink that will ultimately get indexed. Here are some questions I would like answered:
This has intrigued me for quite some time, is it hard to create your own blog network? I have seen a few members, one of them off the top of my head Mike Anthony offering to build you your very own private blog network.
Any thoughts, tips, help, coaching whatever, I welcome it all. Thanks Harvez16 |

I have heard that nowdays BMR is posting the articles to a lot of low PR sites, between 0-3, if this is the case would that even be worth it? Anyone else got any suggestions? |

I build my networks from scratch. That means new domains and full link building until they get to PR3+ and carry a lot of weight. Literally build thousands upon thousands of various links to each blog. PR is not as important as link profile. You need at least unique class C IP's for every site/blog in your network. Private name servers (there are some tricks with name servers that help as well). Never had a site de-indexed, which seems to happen a lot with BMR and ALN blogs (more so ALN). This does require a lot more work and takes much longer than simply buying PR domains and re-building. Some people like to buy domains and try to rebuild the site as close to the original as possible. Others simply throw up a new WP blog and start posting. One thing I will say though, as far as blog networks go... I'd always want to be in 100% control over it (meaning I control hosting, domains, posting, etc). These things are long term investments (if you do it right). There's a lot more to it... |

I'm willing to put the effort in here, because to me building my own blog network seems like the best option here. Like you said you will have full control over it, you know what is being posted to what, and on top of this you can build relativley close niche related sites etc. I would PM you for a bit more information on this but I don't have enough posts unfortunately ![]() I also have no idea about unique class c ips, which is something I've heard pop up a few times around here. Thanks.. |

To build your own network and then start posting will take extra time. Your competitors are getting further ahead of you in that scenario.

@ bnetwork - Couldn't agree with you more. That's exactly how i make my network. It takes time, but worth it for long run. To add on to it, i prefer buying aged domains and sites on them with unique content (You can buy such for $20-25 each on Digitalpoint Forum) and then build links to them, like bnetwork mentioned. If you're obsessed with page rank use high PR blog comments and networks like ALN to build on to your Blog Network's PR.

Okay so the general gist of it is to buy aged domains, or even purchase new domains, and smash it with links? For example: +Authority Link Network +Build My Rank +Article Ranks +Finding related blogs, with high pr pages to comment on? One question thought, where would I find a high pr blog to place in the authority link network system in the first place to start receiving links? |

On the other side i don't really care about PR. Solid backlinks to blogs in your network is all i look for and decent Mozrank too.

![]() Aaanyways... I buy high PR blog commenting packages from various providers. Some 10-20 PR3+ comments should be enough to get your blogs to PR2 or so. They don't have to be relevant or anything like that.
Use at least C-Class IP hosting (I use aseohosting.com for smaller networks). This will help ensure that your blogs are on different IP's. If your network is huge, spread it over several different hosts. Post regular content to the blogs, make sure that all content is unique. Never interlink. Use different WP themes (if you're using WP). Vary the length of your articles, use images in posts (sometimes), link out to authority websites from time to time (cnn, bbc, wikipedia, etc). Take your time to remove defaults posts/pages and customize each blog (vary widgets, homepage blog post count, privacy pages, etc). Don't always link to the same sites from all of your blogs. Say if you have 50 blogs in the network - randomly pick 20 or 30 for each SEO campaign. And a lot more...

I am following the same technique to build my blog network. It helps in getting targeted traffic for your website as well. You can also add your website in BlogRole or footer of the blog. Sometimes the blog posts don't get indexed but adding your link in footer can help in getting more number of backlinks for your project.

I won't tell you how I do it but as you see from this thread a few people use blog comments and mass blasting which to me isn't the best way of doing it because those kinds of links although conveying some juice to build up sites also have a VERY high drop off rate (comments get delted, nofollowed and removed too often) If you rely on better links your network will be strong and keep its strength |

| You'll be waiting a long time. The only person I knew that offered a course that was a regular here closed the doors on offering the training when he hit the number of people he wanted to teach. His students already are building some powerful networks that some of you will probably be renting from and he had a refund request of ZERO (despite them paying around $200 for the course) when they saw what they were learning. Bnet just didn't get the memo. .However I will pass the baton to him to teach about networksQuote:

What would you recommend instead of blog commenting and mass blasting? I have also tried to contact you through your site but none of your listed contacts actually works. Thanks.
