Unexplained Traffic Source

I'm getting a bunch of hits and i'm not sure where it's coming from. It shows up on my analytics, has anyone experienced this before?

Hi,

Those hits are from people clicking on links to your site in their email.

Yes, that's people visiting your site by clicking on the links in their emails.

it can also be bots. Some of them will appear in your analytics and it is not a person. If you see strange stats from them it is likely a bot

yes mate, as above reply told us.. its only search engine bot ...leave up this month...next time check again.. if you still found same problem, then some one doing bad impression on your site..

Thanks for the responses, how do i get rid of the search bots and is this something i should be concerned with?

I am not sending any emails with a link, could it be possible someone else is sending these people emails with my link in it. I'm getting 100-200 per day of hits in the last 2 days.

Now i'm not getting as much traffic from these sources, i kinda miss all that traffic. Wish i new how i could generate all that traffic again.
