Default Iframing a small part of Adwords landing page? Okay or not?

Hey guys,

I setup a script to change the iframe based on day. I am doing this because depending on the day someone opts in, I need the autoresponder to be different. So I need to show a different optin form depending on the day.

So only 1/3 of the page (on the right, a column) is an iframe. It shows my photo, optin headline and optin box.

Is google okay with this? In terms of advertising with them.

I have been searching and from what I can tell they are not too fond of people iframing full affiliate pages.

Everything stays the same on mine, except the optin area is iframed. The pages are named monday.htm,tuesday.htm, and so on. And they are on my site. The original content is behind the iframe (in case someone has it disabled, not sure if that is even possible, dont know much about it).

Would you be concerned with this setup?

That would only be part of the problem.

Opting in, or email harvesting is frowned upon.
You need to follow a plethora of rules to harvest
emails with adwords.

That aside, using a javscript, php, or similar would
be much better than an iframe.

Just call an external javascript, or create it as a php page
that changes the html depending on the day.

The php is much neater. All that appears to the naked eye,
and google, is the usual html code.

Thanks Paul.

I have been advertising a similar landing page for a few months with no problems. Although I do know that doesnt mean a whole lot when it comes to adwords. But I feel safe in that area.

I only used the iframe as that was the easiest for me. I dont know anything really about coding, but the iframe part was easy with a few tutorials.

This is in wordpress, so I would have to edit the templates (optimize press) and that is something I dont think I would have much luck with. But going this route, with php, does sound better.

Do you think this would be a fairly straightforward project for a freelancer, including setting up the php code to change it based on the day and the template altering?

Thanks for your input. Should of come here first, I spent ages trying to get he iframe to sit where I wanted
