Hi. I use Optimize Press for my website. I am trying to add Google Analytics to the page. On the Google Analytics it says to then paste it onto every page you want to track immediately before the closing </head> tag. However, because I am using Optimize Press I cannot find this </head> tag. If you use Optimize Press and have set up Google Analytics please help me out. Thanks. |

| I would think that like most other themes, Optimize Press would have a footer file where you can place the code. Login to your dashboard and go to appearance-edit then find either footer.php and scroll down to the bottom and you should see the header tag there. |

Login, and on your Dashboard to the left at the bottom: OptimizePress > General Settings Then scroll down the page to Custom Tracking Code (Header), then insert your GA code there. This will install GA on every page used by the theme on the site. And it will install it before the closing </head> tag. If you are adding any page specific GA code such as split A/B testing using Google Webmaster tools, then go to any page and scroll down to: Page SEO & Optimization Options > Tracking Codes & Javascript Insert page specific codes here... Hope this helps. Mike |

I found this post because I am looking into buying optimize press. It seems a lot easier than my current theme- 'headway.' But what I have found for header and footer scripts, especially with google analytics, is the the "HiFi" plugin in wordpress. You can add header/footer code directly into posts or pages in the wordpress editor area. Super easy. Hope this helps anyone who stumbles upon this post as well. |
