I always thought the 'page' specifically reffered to a webPAGE. In fact, it's all about Larry Page.

It's amazing the assumptions we come to.

Imagine his name was Larry Waggon, and we were all on here talking about increasing our 'WaggonRank'!

Well I think its a happy coincidence. I don't think if his name were Smith they would have named it Smith Rank.

Often on SEO blogs, the name is still credited as to referring to an actual web page - not his name.

Assumedly, he was referring to his own name though...
