fiverr.com is SO STUPID!!!!

I have a dispute with a seller and they offered to refund my money, but you can't discuss a refund in their messaging system and couldn't find anything on fiverr.com to request a refund so I went to paypal and filed a dispute.

What does fiverr.com do? Blocked my freaking account!!!

WTF? Luckily they sent me a link, that should be on every freakin' page, but it's not to actually contact their sorry butts! We'll see how long it takes for them to unblock me.

Another stupid thing is they ask for the order # in the trouble ticket, but since they block you, you can't get access to any of your freakin' information! STUPID STUPID STUPID!!

Intangible goods aren't eligible for PayPal (which is actually eBay buyer protection).

Besides, you're supposed to work with the vendor before you file a dispute. You really should read before submitting chargebacks on PayPal.

I've since found the stupid link at the bottom of the page, yeah I am sure everyone looks there, and submitted my request with no useful response back. The only thing they sent back to me was to follow them on twitter. What the hell does that have to do with my refund?

Remain calm. You'll get your money back. Fiverr.com might not have staff there on the weekend. Just follow up with them.

I agree with mosthost. They're usually pretty decent at communicating as long as you're doing the same with them. Just make sure you provide everything you can that supports you. Gotta see some of these disputes like a case at small claims court: The more you have to support yourself, the better you may come out of the dispute. Good luck with the dispute.

I have no problems with fiverr; my biggest problem is the competition; I am always being targeted by my competitors.
The latest was that I got reported for using copyright images, which is a bit funny, considering I made my own images with XHeader Pro.

Yeah right. I've been a developer since the late 80's. Worked in clipper, C, unix, x-windows, motif, vb, numerous databases over the years. Working with .NET and C# the last 5 years professionally and php, mysql, and jquery at home on my own servers the last several years at home in my spare time. I know how to design and write both front end and back end interfaces because I've been doing it for a long long time. I've even worked on the GameStop retail website. Did I mention I did the hardware, network, etc for my wife's dental office and have been building my own computers from parts since 1992. None of that dell or other pre-built crap.

And I guess I am too stupid to figure out how their 'great' interface works?

You can always reference the email they sent with order # anytime you order a gig. Then again, yur ego might be hiding that too

I Do not care how unsatisfied with a fiverr Iam, I never dream of a refund I just move on and give them a bad review if it really sucked but most times i do not even do that.

I didn't care about the $5. It was the seller bugging me every day or two about giving them a thumbs down and asking if I wanted my money back. I wasn't going to change my rating without them refunding the money.

email the seller and cancel the order ,
I did that
within 5 minutes I got an official request for refund to be issued from fiverr and the seller

I clicked yes
is that so hard?
what I did NOT do is go to Paypal and dispute the order
why would I do this? that would get the seller or fiverr in trouble with a Paypal dispute

that was your mistake
learn from it
that would tick me off also if I were fiverr and you did that

You can get your order number from your paypal transaction.

You dont need a trouble ticket
you just need to contact the seller and say you want to cancel it

you guys are over complicating this
if the seller has a good rep
it is taken care of on their end in 5 minutes

they send you a fiverr notification that a request for refund has been issued by the fiverr gig guy, you just say APPROVE or ACCEPT,

VOILA
takes 5 minutes
no need for a 'trouble ticket" no need to "dispute with PAYPAL"

Fiverr support is usually really friendly and helpful. They mosten need only 5 minutes to respond to me. I think Fiverr isn't really the problem here. Just think before you act and everything will be fine.
