Default Adsense - Start big or small?

Hello, I have been browsing your forum for 4 months now. I have build 2 clickbank sites, which all together are bringing me 300$ per month.

Now I would like to start/try with adsense. I see many ppl say that keyword has to have 2000+ local searches and CPC at least 1$.. BUT...

What If I go bigger and try to make adsense site, which gets 20000+ local searches and CPC at least 2$?

Is it too "hardcore" for newbie like me? I know the basic things about SEO and keyword research. My budget is not big.. 60$ per month for SEO and 1-2hours per day for manual backlinking.

Or I should try smaller niche sites which are easier to rank and lower CPC/exact localt searches?

What are your thoughts?

Try Google Adowords keyword tool. It's free to use. You can enter the desired keyword and this tool will show you the monthly search volume along with the Adwords CPC for the keyword. You will also get keyword ideas suggested by this free tool.

If I can spend money for SEO as you said, I will go for a high paying niche though such niches have high competition. This is my personal opinion.

local search 20000 means you have to shut your sleeping and start working for more than 20 hours!
Actually that's for those people who can't invest. but i you can invest a good amount then you can easily reduce your struggle.
make 2/3 groups for your content management, web page maintenance and SEO.
just monetize their jobs by yourself! struggle for a month you will get really good result. but if you work for a very low competitive keywords then you can easily dominate your competitors within 2/3 weeks and start income

Start big and get a big payout. Start small and earn pennies. What I recommend though is that you make one small site yourself first so that you know what's important. It's hard to outsource work if you don't know what you are actually outsourcing.

I will only outsource SEO (I will write articles by myself, maybe around ~10?) and I will also do some backlinks manually everyday

I would suggest you to find a broad topic that you can expand later when the site gets bigger because you'll never know which keyword or article that will pull the most traffic to your website.
