Hello! I was just wondering if you've experienced a traffic increase after being assigned your Page Rank? or does your traffic stay relatively flat even after the PR assignment?

Never. The event that's commonly called a "Page Rank Update" is really just the event where Google updates the publicly visible page rank value of each page. The publicly visible rank has no effect on ranking in SERPs. Behind the scenes, Google is constantly recalculating the page rank of pages, and using this as a ranking factor for SERPs. So by the time the latest rank is made visible, the effect on your position and traffic has already taken place. |

Page Rank has nothing to do with traffic, page rank is a measure of authority. Page rank is assigned to each and every page of your website (not once per website). To get some use out of the page rank, the best way is to link to another page (usually on the same website) with the anchor text in the link containing the keyword phrases you are looking for that page to rank for. Then that other page is more likely to rank better for that keyword phrase and you are using that page rank. Also you should know that Page Rank is calculated in real time by Google, but the Page rank tools show data that can be months old, so only use it as a guide. Cheers Tim |

Page Rank is only a method for Google to determine the value of the page, for us in its calculations. It only decided to publicly display the rank to assist visitors in knowing the chances of a page being junk. It will never help you in traffic. The only way to increase traffic is getting ranked highly for keywords that are related to your niche of choice. However 99% of people attempting to do SEO work chose the wrong keywords(aka the "gold nugget" keywords), you know the ones that have extremely high searches, but also have extremely high competition. They should instead be finding the keywords that get about 10% to 20% as much traffic as the main keyword, and find around 10 - 15 of them, then do your proper SEO with them. You will end up with better rankings for less effort, and more traffic, than the "gold nugget" keyword.
