Lightbulb Email Marketing Guide ===> Help <===

Hi guys. My name is Eddie and I have quite a vast knowledge about the fitness industry...muscle building in particular.

I would like to set up a squeeze page and then monetise my list.I have not issues with that.

However, I have 1 HUGE Problem!

TRAFFIC!

It is said that each subscriber is worth $1, so I would like to have around 2000 subscribers as this would be enough for me as an extra income. After all, i'm a student and my expenses are not huge. I want to save up a lot of money during university to invest in property afterwards.

How can I get at least 1000 subscribers in the shortest amount of time???

Any advice would be appreciated!

p.s: I am extremely hard working, so that is not an issue.

You mentioned that you are pretty knowledgeable of the fitness industry, so the best, easiest option for you would be to create youtube videos showing workouts, nutrition information, muscle building myths.

Also use facebook and twitter! Create contests on facebook and get people involved. You can even ask people to share your site in return for a free e-book or something like that.

I do that a lot and I have 2 sites in the fitness niche!

Remember to only offer quality information! You might as well not do IM if you want to offer rubbish information! I always focus on quality, not quantity when it comes to mailing lists.

Offer a great auto-responder series where you actually give good content, not just stuff your copy pasted from the internet.

Hey man I'll give you a secret ok.

I am a member at several bodybuilding forums and use to post on them before I ever even got into marketing. So I spent many years building a reputation on all these sites although you don't really need to do that imo.

What I can tell you however is if you post on forums like a normal person, but post incredibly relevant/useful threads. You WILL attract thousands upon thousands of people. One of my threads a couple months back got about 10,000 visitors. Some of these sites (especially steroid.com) gets LOTS of traffic. You can also find people likely posting/asking about things you are already trying to market.

Learn how to search for most recent posts. Then shoot them a pm just recommending a product because you saw their post. Don't be salesy do it like you would recommend something to a friend. Bodybuilding is like the 1 niche I know most about but never decided to market for because of the competition. But getting on these forums and posting valuable information can get you LOTS of traffic. I may even try it myself some day (actually marketing on them that is).

Thanks Man! I really appreciate it! I have a few questions though... Do you recommend that I create threads or just reply on other people's threads?

As you probably already know, a lot of people disagree about many things regarding bodybuilding. Things such as nutrition, workout splits, supplements, etc, so I thought that if I create threads that some people do not agree with, they will ruin my reputation. This mainly applies on the forum of bodybuilding.com

Thanks!

Find a partner that knows how to build and promote sites and partner with them. You focus on the content and they focus on the technical aspects.

You'll have to split the income, but this often works well as both parties are working on their core strengths (no pun intended).
