Not sure if I'm allowed to post my site but its: New Jersey Home & Commercial Water Proofing, Mold Remediation, Structural Repair I know the site itself still needs work but I started building backlinks a few days ago. I see a lot of you guys on the forum saying things like "google bumped the rank of my site up x however many pages in the search" and I'm not sure how you even find out what page your site is displaying on. Like last night I put the keywords "basement waterproofing nj" clicked all the way back to around page 40 and couldn't find it. Am I just suppose to keep clicking farther back untill I find it? Is there a tool that will actually tell you what page you list for a specific keyword or phrase? Any advice on this would be appreciated I just want to start tracking my sites progress like the rest of you do. Thanks! |

Hey. Google "serp checker" and click the top result - it checks all the way up to page 100 |

Google's "webmaster tools" will give you this information. The problem with checking from your local web browser is the results can be skewed as search engines often attempt to customize results for each user.
