Wouldn't This Fix the Market Samurai Rank Tracker Issue?

Why don't the Market Samurai folks just build in support for private proxies into Market Samurai? Wouldn't that address the issue they have with rank tracker?

Oddly enough... I received this email from the makers of SEO PowerSuite and it really brings into question the actual situation with MS.

"SEO PowerSuite keeps working. The thing is, what is proclaimed a Google's technical change doesn't look so and has never been confirmed by anyone outside Market Samurai team....

No other reasons for Market Samurai's software failure have ever been officially named. However, more realistic reasons were suggested by their former users, assumed by many SEOs on all kind of Internet forums - and never commented on by the Samurai representatives. So the actual reasons for the fail are assumable and lie in a strategic error at the early stage of designing the software architecture. Our experts say, the estimate of fixing such error to restore an SEO tool to a fully working condition is about half a year. "

Would love to hear your input on this because honestly not sure who to believe.

I dunno what's going on over there. The whole idea of using their own network of proxy servers seemed dumb to me. You'd think they would just have a control panel that would allow you to load up a bunch of proxies in the back and let it rip.

The thing should be able to check ranks as fast as scrapebox scrapes serps for keywords....and that's dang fast. I'm sure it would be a heck of a lot faster than what we've seen with MS from the beginning.

They could also do some type of "drip" check on some type of timer. Like have it start up at midnight and go through the different keywords with a 30-45 second break between. As long as it would keep trying even if it got some type of error, you could use the Hide-My-Ass VPN to Auto-Rotate IPs every few minutes and the thing would be as anonymous as you need.

Lots of simple solutions. Dunno why they are not implemented yet.

SEO Powersuite hasn't stopped working for me at all. Just make sure that you clear your cache, cookies, and log out of Google and the results are real. Maybe MS keeps all the cookies and cache from the previous rank tracking runs. I've never used MS for rank tracking though so I don't really know...

Excellent points... Sure does seem fishy!

In fact, one could easily come to the conclusion that they're just ought to hood-wink us into an additional monthly charge.

PS Perhaps this would be a good place to discuss MS alternatives!

What a way to bone your customers ala 'Netflix' style; that went really well, didn't it?

MS developers are just getting greedy and are looking at how to turn their 'one-off' purchase into a monthly deal; it's bad business.

The Google API can be used to check your own list of keywords on a database for free, just use a proxy switcher. I don't recommend anyone to purchase Market Samurai anymore; they are way to slow and you can get the same info elsewhere.

I felt bad asking for a refund... but the only part of market samuari I used was rank tracker... the seo competition feature was my second favorite though. I upgraded to powersuite and boy it is worth every penny + their latest UI is really nice...
