Default Attention: Help Me Rescue This Business

The economy has done some disastrous things to businesses over the years. One in particular, The Di Fatta Brothers in Baltimore, MD has been able to withstand the bad times since 1976. Until recently.

Giovanni, the owner, hasn't taken a check in the past two months and says that business is down 90%. He's employed his daughter, the same mechanic for 25 years, and the same book keeper for 20 years.

Now, business is down to a trickle. His main business was from clients all around the world finding him on Google and calling in to order rare Alfa, Fiat, and Maserati parts. He also services all types of vehicles at his shop.

The Point: He slipped from a #5 ranking for the keywords Alfa Parts and Fiat Parts to the second and third page to not be found. Right after this, business plummeted to the worst that it's ever been.

I'm doing as much as I can to help him out with his SEO but funds are limited and so is my time. It's pretty much my #1 goal right now to save his business. I'm posting this here as a request for anyone who would like to help out and save the business. Whether it be giving the site some high PR links, article submissions, backlinks, etc. If enough people pitch in just a little SEO effort, it'll give the site the boost it needs to make a rebound back to the first page.

If you can help in some way, send me a PM or reply with more information.

Site: difatta.com

Target keywords:

alfa parts
fiat parts
alfa romeo parts
maserati parts
ferrari parts

The site was created in 1998 and has a PR of 2 so this is a good start.

If you can't do anything on your own to help, you can purchase a Fiverr Gig to help boost his rankings.

This can be your good deed for the day...to help save a 36 year old business employing 4 hard working people.

Cheers

From an SEO perspective he has a lot of images on the page for menu options.

I would replace those with regular text, and maybe add a lot more text about what specifically they sell.

What about a list of products, or if too many a summary of what cars specifically.

All I see is "OEM and after market parts" which is pretty generic.

Detail, detail, detail.

The more content you add about the business, products it sells, and even the people working there the better and a greater chance of getting indexed by the search engines.

If I were you I'd be looking at keywords people are using to try and find parts they sell and creating content to suit those keywords.

Best of luck to you it's a worth cause.

Cheers

Tim

I'd be telling him to find other sources of traffic so his business isn't so reliable on Google.

There must be a few forums for each of those cars online where they could introduce themsevles are start helping out by sharing some of their knowledge for signature exposure.

Find some ezines and blogs to write for to once again share that knowldge, get exposure, and backlinks.

How many videos on you-tube do they have about maintaining these cars - and other general tips and tutorials?
