Well, I'm darned. I had three sites sitting there with a big fat goose egg PR0 The oldest was maybe 5 months old and the newest was completed just last week. Two moved to PR1 and one has gone to PR2.

No change on my older ranked sites.

Seems like age does make a difference, all things being equal. The oldest site is PR2 with internal pages getting rank as well. The newer sites internal pages are not ranked.

This isn't scientific, but it is indicative.

Almost ALL of my sites and pages have gone up in PR or stayed the same. as should be expected.

Still nothing over PR4 though.. But I have a lot of PR4s now.

I couldn't be bothered to check my PageRank. Rankings and traffic matter far more, so I'll pay attention to the values that make me money and won't pay attention to the values that don't

I have PR1 and PR2 sites that make lots of money and rank for very competitive terms, and I have PR5 sites that rank for absolutely nothing and make me very little money.

One of my sites bumped from a 3 to a 4, only 4 months old. Another that is over a year old is still a big 0.

I doubt that it was your campaign, but Google's new PR update today. Millions of sites got really nice bumps in PR.

lol same here, that PR5 site hasnt made me a single dime and isn't even ranking in the top100 for the easyest keywords in the whole world, talking about these 8 words phrases lol

That is a nice bump from google. No one really knows how google works so you can only guess why you got such a big bump. Just keep doing what you are as you must be doing something right.

LOL dude, that means totally 0, my friend got his site from PR0 to PR3, it's 5 days old lol, I got my site 3 months old from PR0 to PR3, Zero backlinks LOL
I got my other site from PR0 to PR5 (5 months old) 150k crappy backlinks LOL

I think Google went completely NUTS this time.

Ps Just found out my youtube channel got PR6 today, wanna know how? By a few comments on PR8 channels, this youtube channel of mine links back to the PR5 site I have so guess thats where most of the PR came from

Google took away the page rank on my oldest site. It was only a PR1 and now its a big fat zero! My newest site went from PR0 to PR3. I wish I knew how they decided to give out page rank. Some people say the older a site is, the better. However, my older sites either lost their PR or stayed the same. My youngest site made out good.

No clue, its freaking easy to manipulate, just create a youtube channel, make some comments on PR7 PR8 videos/channels while logged in and with next update your channel is PR6, put a link to your money site from your channel and your moneysite is PR5 same like mine (forgot to mention that in my ohter post).

Site age has absolutely nothing to do with PR.

It is simply a measure of the quality of incoming links.

Most of my sites received a boost. About 80% received higher PR and 20% stayed the same. None went down..

But to be honest I only really checked after I heard about the update. PR doesn't mean much unless you can make cash from your sites.

PR is google's measure of how valuable your site is with respect to search engine rankings. PR doesn't "help" your rankings, it's just a measure of the value and strength of your site.

Not much of a change for my sites, still few PR7 and dozen's of PR5-6 sites just to name a few. Same all same all
BTW, seomoz rolling in mud two last PR updates in a row, it use to be PR8 just for a while ,only PR6 since November 2011.

Damn, I went from PR4 to PR3. Although it really doesn't matter, it sucks to go back. A friend of mine also had a PR3 drop to pr2 and a pr0 that didn't move.

Site 1 - PR0 -> PR2
Site 2 - PR2 -> PR2
Site 3 - PR0 -> PR0
Site 4 - PR3 -> PR3
Site 5 - PR3 -> PR3
Site 6 - PR0 -> PR4 (and every inner page has gone from pr0 -> pr2)
Site 7 - PR2 -> PR2
Site 8 - PR2 -> PR3
Site 9 - PR0 -> PR1

And loads of inner page rank increases too.

My PR6 site has all keywords on page 1, most of them are in top1-3.
Having high PR does not necessarily mean low SERPs. Both can be done at the same time.

Guys, listen. Your PageRank doesn't change overnight. It's changing all the time. The public numbers you can see get updated every few months, but that doesn't mean your PageRank just changed. The authority status of your site gets updated continuously between the "updates" you see.

Google updates it internal pagerank on a daily basis....the toolbar is only updated every few months.

I don't bother looking at the toolbar when it comes to SERP's..I could have a pr5 that ranks for crap, yet a pr3 that is in the top10.

Well one of my sites went from pr0 to pr3 and droped from page one to page three. go figure!

One of my PR8s dropped to a PR5 and one of my PR5s moved up to a PR7. What happened is the backlinks to my sites changed which affected the PR on my money sites.

Congrats, same here, my 3 month old website that I haven't spent anything on got PR1!
Also a PR1 site I recently bought went up to PR2.
