How to gain lots of traffic to your blog

This is not an advertisement. I am in no way associated with this blog, and gain nothing from posting the following about it...

But one of the best IM blogs out there that doesn't get as much attention as it deserves is "ThinkTraffic" with Corbett Barr.

I have been casually following it for a while now, but today come accross some other stuff there that I hadn't seen before, and I am just incredibly impressed.

You owe it to yourself to learn a few things from them.

OK, you titled this thread "How to gain lots of traffic to your blog." So, how do you do it? Can you share any tips from this website you recommend?

I'm not going to summarize dozens of posts that are thousands of words long.

The title informs people in the main board that enclosed is traffic generation content. I then informed people of a really good blog on traffic generation that they might not have known about.

The reason I do this is because I just read something from their Traffic Toolbox that I would have been willing to pay $150 for, but got it for free.

The resource for "how to gain lots of traffic" was plainly given in the original post.

These replies are rather nitpicky.The title could be reworded to something along the lines of "great resource for getting lots of traffic for your blog" if it is truly bothersome.

This sounds cool as whenever we listen about ways or means to increase traffic. I am impatiently waiting for further details on this topic if any please.

yeah, some people are this forum are nitpicky and after being on here a while, I can see why.

You expect to get in the thread something aligned with the title.

But really no big deal.

For future reference, a better title might have been

"found great IM blog that include ways to get traffic for free"

What can I say, I'm slow.

The way to gain lots of traffic to your blog is to get a friend or sockpuppet to glowingly praise your blog on one of the highest-traffic forums on the Internet. But don't use a direct link; people might think you're not totally sincere. Just, "go check it out, people, it's great, really."

Yep, I take back the first sentence of my previous post. Posting the link likely would have gotten the thread nuked, if only to avoid setting a precedent and turning the main forum into a blog promo fest.

I'm not someone who just registered to the forum and has 10 posts.

I am a war room member. I've been here for years. I've been thanked.

I considered writing a post linking to a bunch of blogs ive found helpful lately, but decided just to drop this one because I didn't want to spend time on it.

If you want specifics, I read the how to break the b-list page in that blogs "toolchest" and instantly starting taking action. Quickly tossed up this post before/while taking action.
