Hello! Working on my first affiliate page... Wrote a good SEO'd article to my standards relevant to the product I'm promoting. Should I first post this on my WordPress blog and then submit to Article Sites, or should I make a few changes or a lot of changes to the text so that it is still original material? Should I not post this same article on sites that I post on my own, and just make an entirely new article to post on submission sites, etc..? Thanks! |

Unique, original articles are the way to go and where almost all the sites are going now to get rid of the junk stuff out there. I always post them in this order. Unique, original never before posted elsewhere on the web on Qondio.com first. Once screened, post on ideamarketers. If you write good stuff that gets syndicated, this will get you a ton of targeted traffic and great backlinks. Most of my articles have gotten syndicated 2-5 thousand times. That saves me the work of having to post them all over the place myself and gives them more credibility. Once they are through those two, which can take 2-7 days, I then and only then post it on my blog. Once it is on my blog, I immediately ping it, and post it on all the social networks. I might even add a link to it in my signature of an appropriate forum that I am active on if it is allowed and fits. I'm sure you will get a lot of different opinions on this and they are all probably workable. This is what works for me. It may take a few articles of good quality to get a reputation on these sites but is so worth it. Also, the article must really provide valuable information and not be salesy at all. Edit: Make sure that you set the creative commons to: can be copied but not modified and must show the original bio. Make sure your bio is good and short and only contains a link to a site you own, no affiliate links allowed |

Awesome. Thanks Topkat. I thought I heard before that it was smart to post original content on your site first so that google see's your site as the original source... but sounds like this is not always the case. I'll have to check out Qondio. |

So according to you is it best practice to submit same article on various article directories without change or modification?
